Hey, I wanted/need a yellow bowtie for Prom coming up soon, and I was wondering if you had any suggestions. I want it to still be classy. I can tie a self tie, but I have no idea what to wear. All I know is I want to wear a bowtie, and my date has a color that is like http://wedding35.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/prom-dresses-yellow-6.jpg but a little paler and more yellow. If you have any suggestions just direct it to my ask box!

To be honest, I think a bow-tie is a great idea—especially something that pops with a little bit of yellow to it. Your best bet in my books would be to check out the vintage stores around your area. Bow-ties are big right now in the vintage circuit, and you can general swing a nice one for under $40. Then learn to tie it—youtube has about a million instructional videos.
